A POEM FOR GEN. X

 

Here's a rhyming poem for Gen X kids about growing up:

In the '80s we roamed, under neon lights so bright,

Gen X kids, we knew how to make the day just right.

With Walkmans strapped to our jeans, and mixtapes](https://x.com/i/grok?text=ixtapes)) in our hands,

We danced through life to the beat, across suburban lands.

We had no cell phones, no texts, just quarters for the call,

At the payphone on the corner, we'd tell our friends it all.

We'd ride our bikes 'til sunset, no helmets on our heads,

The wind in our hair, we'd shout, "This is how freedom spreads!"

Saturday mornings, cartoons ruled the TV screen,

Transformers, He-Man, G.I. Joe, we'd seen them all, we'd been.

Afternoons were for arcades, quarters tight in our fists,

Beating high scores at Pac-Man, we wouldn't settle for the least.

We knew the joy of mixtapes, and the art of VCR,

Recording music off the radio, we were stars, by far.

We learned from "The Breakfast Club," and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off,"

That life was more than just school, it was about to take off.

We played outside 'til dark, street lights our curfew set,

Kickball, tag, or hide and seek, we never had to fret.

Our childhood was analog, our memories pure and true,

Gen X, we grew up wild, our spirits free and new.

So here's to us, the latchkey kids, with mullets and big hair,

We grew up in the greatest time, with heart and soul to spare.

We might be older now, but we've got stories to tell,

Of growing up in the '80s, when life was just swell.

HOW I MADE HOMELESS PERSON FLEE!

 Well welcome to my shit show of my life. 

So story  one (there is more)

So this happened just less than week ago. I actually makes a homeless person want to leave. So i ran into a homeless man. He just want some change for a cigarette. I then wouldn't stop talking. He was trying to end the conversation. I did not get it. I'm so lonely i make homeless people unconfirmed.  Finally he had to say "I really  have to go" 

I'm sure he did not suddenly have something to do.  I made this guy think i gave get the fuck away from me. 

I made a homeless person feet unsafe. 

Taco Bell restaurant opinion

Taco Bell was founded in 1962 by Glen Bell in Downey, California. Initially, Bell operated various food stalls, including Bell's Drive-In, where he sold tacos inspired by those at Mitla Cafe across the street. He opened his first Taco Bell restaurant after experimenting with his own taco recipe.

Yes I went to taco bell. Yes I know the extreme gas is on its way!

The staff was very nice the pop machine had issues. The staff corrected the issues right away.  I've not gone on one date in five or six years, so i'm not worried about my farts disturbing anyone. If you fart and no one's there to smell it, does it stink?

So might day tour eating Taco Bell do you have a death wish? Yes I have been single 6 years not one date.  Yes I long for the sweet embrace of death.

I give up! So i want tell you a story.

 So I had my suspicions, i hope it wasn't true, but it was true. I i rarely get people message me. One I just made a comment on they're TikTok page. It was acute apple farmer. She was taken over the business from our father. And continue in a third generation of apple farmers. This game my attention, because I grew up an unorchard around apples, pears and cherries. So I started communicating with her, she responded back and I wasn't looking for anything I just want teller. She is scared and I admire the fact that she is third generation farmer. There's there are not many of them left.  So we talked back and forth, she ended up asking for my phone number. And we start texting. She never ask for money.She never asked me to join some other form of communication. She wasn't overly flirty. I thought for once, maybe since it's a new year.Things we're starting to go my way. All her pictures seem to be legit, dealing with apples pairs. This went on for a while. Then I got curious, which I should be from the start. Beautiful woman interested in me. That should have made my first clue.That was a scam. No beautiful woman, attractive women or moderately attracted and went woman has been interested in me in five plus years  so I look more carefully at her profile picture. Her username had a dot before her user name. I can see this because of my vision issues. It turns out someone scammed her profile and all of the pictures emmaid, a new tiktok, same year's name, but a dot before the username. I  since found the real women's account.   I was so careful this time.

I proceeded slowly and carefully.

Just casual talk. She asked for money, shouldn't ask for anything.  I will be alone four the rest my  life. I have dealt with five plus years of scammers and women who doesn't give me a chance.And don't want me, don't want anything to do with me. 

I don't know how long I can deal with this lonely life. It's really unbearable at this point.

  

Dean Winchester

 

 " Sammy please don't let me ride a duck "  The reportedly was not said. Why do i like Supernatural  show?

Solely because of the love between Sam and Dean. That was not remotely the way it was in my family.

I developed friendships to take the place.  So when Supernatural came about it lived vicariously though them. 

That's why I like the show. The ending was crap. It seemed to rushed. Random piece of rebar stabs him.  I would rather seen him  fight with someone in the inpla  ad have him win the fight  but crash the car then Dean dies in the car. Thay could have same goodbye.  Then in Heaven when sees the car again it would mean more.  

I KNOW Ticktock Trump

I know a lot has been said about the TikTok ban. I know many of you are tired of hearing about it. You just want some stability. You want to know if Trump will be able to negotiate a deal to keep TikTok and get it back in app stores.

Do you realize how other countries feel, given the recent US TikTok ban? They are drafting legislation in their own countries for a ban. The truth is, if their countries get a ban, we won't make fun of them or talk behind their backs.

I don't know what's going to happen with the ticktock issue.  I hope for the best.  I would  like Ticktock to be less liberal. I would love  less censorship!

I Hope i fine love this year.

 Greetings my readers! What i'm hoping for and this year is a loving relationship.Who's an awesome woman. I really hope hi soon fine. This mysterious woman cool Bring new love, no joy, end new company. This mysterious woman I will enjoy gaining to know. Enjoy loving her. Enjoy, tell you about me and I'll enjoy her telling me about her. In her dreams in her background and her stories. And when I meet her, someday I'll enjoy cuddling with her watching movies with her walking together, talking laughing and living my life with her. That's what I dream of before I go to sleep every night. I'm just waiting for it to happen. Excuse me, if there's some mistakes, i'm simply dictating this instead of going to the trouble of writing out  word four word. Text-to-speech Has it's problems, but it's great. Where when my eyes I tired, I don't want to type. 

I have vision issues

 So I have severe  peripheral vision issues.. It's very frustrating in stores the lighting in the stores makes my vision worse. There's the people darting back and forth.   I don't see them until there right I'm my face.  I watch intently  and movement. 

People say why don't I get what cane.  I'm not that blind.  No one can see my disability  Is really frustrating. 

Well the Cannal 2

So I talked about the canal. I talked about going in the empty canal. It was so much fun.

So  playing at the canal and in it, we would get on our bikes and travel down the canal road. We would travel for hours. We would pack snacks. So it was so much fun.

The one thing that wasn't good was the dogs. So, being out of town, no one had their dogs contained. So you would ride as fast as you could past the dogs. That was stressful. And you had to return the same way. 

It was always fun riding bikes. Unfortunately the next day one tire would be flat.  There is something called Goat head is a weed that will deflate the tires.  That what happened  a numerous times. 

Donc, en jouant sur le canal et dedans, nous allions sur nos vélos et descendions la route du canal. Nous voyagions pendant des heures. Nous emballions des collations. C'était tellement amusant.

La seule chose qui n'était pas bonne, c'était les chiens. Donc, étant hors de la ville, personne n'avait ses chiens contenus. Donc vous rouliez aussi vite que vous le pouviez devant les chiens. C'était stressant. Et vous deviez revenir de la même façon.

C'était toujours amusant de faire du vélo. Malheureusement, le lendemain, un pneu serait à plat. Il y a quelque chose qui s'appelle la tête de chèvre est une mauvaise herbe qui va dégonfler les pneus. C'est ce qui s'est passé de nombreuses fois.

Jugando en el canal y en él, nos subíamos a nuestras bicicletas y viajabamos por la carretera del canal. Viajaríamos durante horas. Empacaríamos bocadillos. Así que fue muy divertido.

The canal

Let me tell you about the setting in Yakima Valley. There are canals, big canals and little canals. The big canals, two of which run through the lower valley, are for watering the crops. The little canals run through the city. I enjoy watching you water your gardens, etc. The big canals are upwards of fifteen to twenty feet across and eight to twelve feet deep, with swiftly moving water at five miles an hour. If you are thrown into a canal, there is little hope of getting out alive.

So it's a wise choice not to put yourself in that situation. One of the things we did do. Where's in the fall? The cow will dry up.

So we'd walk along the canal for miles, just searching what we could find. Weirdford, fine stereos.

V c r's tape decks. The people we'll throw in the canal. It'd be like a treasure hunt. In some air, the cow, the water sat in there long enough and that when an early freeze happened in the fall, it froze over for the lengths of half a football field and we go and ice skate with their shoes and try to bust it up. Generally have fun as kids. Yes, this went wrong. Sometimes there's many a story of it going wrong. It may not have a lot of water. But it's freezing water that can be upwards of six feet deep, spanning a football field. Did I almost lose my life? Yes, was I thankful be alive? Yes was I cold yes. Did my friend laugh at me? Yes.

Did my friend save me? Yes, and then start laughing me? Yes, he did. Did I get him back later? Yes,  well, that's all for this post. I will do another pose why expand on the danger. A walk in the canal There's more dangerous, trust me. What else you do being  a Gen X  kid.

Just being a kid..

Just being a kid was so much fun. I remember my friend Allen and I had many adventures. We had a BB gun club.

Yes, did we shoot outside? No, inside in the basement. We set targets four feet away on a metal table. Then we would take shots at army men or whatever and shoot them, being quick to duck under the couch, hoping there were no ricochets. Allen's common phrase, "Oh, my balls," was often heard. It was all fun and games until his mother stepped into the basement and said, "Is that my metal tray?" Then I said to Allen, "I think I need to go home and do something," and I left in a hurry.

That was a fun memory. I still hold onto it and will continue to, as long as my memory allows. That's why I'm writing this blog; if my memory is taken by another stroke, at least there will be documentation of some of the silly things I did in my life.  

It's cold this morning!

So I think it was 17 degrees this morning! It was brutally cold. Definitely wakes you up!  I was going to check my geocaches  today  but the cold. 

So I would like someone to cuddle with.  Can you imagine cuddling again?  It would be all my wishes come true. 

Week 1 with President Trump

 It's been a week into this Presidenty. I would  i will highlight his first amazing week.  Unfortunately I have some liberal friends. Can't say we'll my candidate lost we will try again in a years. Unfortunately. they mock him. They make hateful comments.

Under Biden is just wanted him to retire and spend his time at the beach with friends and family.

Why does politics have to destroy friendships?

I now realize that if your friendships can survive a politics then was not that strong enough.

I got greeted my something unusual

The other day I was at my friend's gravesite. Afterward, I had some time to explore. I ran into many ducks and two geese on a frozen pond in the cemetery.

The pond was filled with ducks and two geese. The geese had attitude; they were so angry that I didn't bring snacks.

The ducks surrounded me, thinking I had treats. I didn't have treats for them. I got many amazing shots of the grounds, ducks, geese, buildings, and structures.The other day I was at my friend's gravesite. Afterward, I had some time to explore. The Legend of the '80s Reboot: Is Stand By Me Returning?

I visited my friend at Her Grave.😢

There I am at her grave. I placed a sunflower and pink bear there🐻💓. I wonder if other people visit her grave? 

I wounder have everyone forgotten her death? I have not seen flowers. I know it was tuff on her family.  A car wreck  low speed she died the other car driven my 78 year old woman survived with out injury. 

She was my friend. My coworker.  After she left working there she would come by the mall when I was working

She gave me her phone number.    I called her once we talked about  work  because she quit that job. Three days before her death. I had a strange feeling  that something going to happen.  But I didn't call i wanted call.  Something said Call her just say hello 👋  increasingly for the 3 days before death

That feeling increased.I'm just call her and just say hello.  I did not I didn't want to bug her. She often came into work after she quit.  And stop by and say, how are you doing? And then we talk for like minutes. Then you go on her way. I figured next time should you just stop in and say hello.

I should have called her.We never spoke again.

TRYED OLD YAKIMA CHINESE FOOD PLACE

I had not been to the Golden Wheel restaurant in downtown Yakima in years—about 30 years. I had the Kung Pao beef with egg rolls. I was the only one there. I was going to take a picture of my food, but I was so hungry! 

It was a large plate of food, and my bill was really reasonable. I should have taken home the leftover vegetables, but I didn't because I knew I would not eat them. Not to say they weren't delicious, but I ate all the tasty meat and a lot of vegetables, but I am not going to heat up leftover vegetables. Does that make sense? 

So if you're ever in yakima, why not go to the go on wheel for lunch or dinner. The service was excellent and the waiter wes really on spot.

I Love this movie!

Will  Goonies New Treasure  be made a reality?  With all the actors and directors that have past away year my year it becomes  more unlikely.
