The bonfire And the beach part

So, back in ’97, we decided to embark on an adventure to Crescent Beach. But to get there, we had to hike down this treacherous path. It was approximately 9:30 at night, and we only had a single flashlight between us. It was incredibly dangerous! We were slipping and sliding all over the place in the darkness.
Once at the beach, the men and I began moving seven-foot pieces of dry driftwood into a teepee structure. The women packed the base with small sticks, dry leaves, and the paper I had brought.

Then, once we got the fire going, we felt like manly men. We had made the most amazing bonfire. A nice bonfire is impressive to women, right? Well, it turns out you can actually build too big of a bonfire.

The bonfire was getting bigger, hotter, and brighter. Let me say we were being safe. We built it by the water. Well, that's when the story gets good. The fire was lighting up the entire beach. That was causing people in Cannon Beach to think it was a forest fire.

Well, that was not good. We were getting tired, so we headed back home to Cannon Beach. On our way home, we heard fire engines. We quickly got back and said nothing. Nothing was harmed with our bonfire.
The End.
